Mash and Treat Mash Officinalis beneficial for horses. Pre-cooked mash, ready in a few minutes, simply by adding warm or hot water (with hot water it should be left to rest for about 10 minutes). Excellent as a reward or as a feed replacement for a meal. It contains only vegetables, fruit and cereals of Italian origin, which, when rehydrated, swell and take on a very pleasant and fragrant sweet flavour.
